I decided to post these charts here to help me track my progress and for the benefit of anyone that wants to follow along. Below are 3 charts, the first is my weight, the second is my BMI, and the third is my body fat percentage. I hope the lines on these charts will all start dropping quickly!

Update: notice the comments I have added at certain points when something significant happened that could affect my weight progress.

One thing has become very clear to me from the use of this chart- when I don’t weigh myself regularly, my weight goes up. Obviously, skipping the scale is not causing me to gain weight, but weight gain is the symptom of me not paying attention like I should. I hope this will provide me with extra motivation to keep up with regular weigh-ins and make sure I am always paying attention to my health.

I changed to a new scale on 11/28/2007 that also measures body fat percentage. This is not the most accurate way to measure body fat, but this is the tool I have used all along so I can at least measure my relative progress. My goal is to reach 25%, which is considered normal for men.
