I have to admit I am glad I broke even and didn’t gain weight this week- it was a bad one! I was incredibly busy and with Halloween and lots of work my diet really suffered. I had candy and really good food in the house on Halloween and then by the end of the week on Friday I was so tired I decided to pick up pizza on the way home for dinner. Then we had an unplanned dinner out Saturday night so by Sunday I knew I had eaten way too much for the week.

On top of that, I failed at my goal of one weightlifting workout. Pretty sad really, but that’s how it goes sometimes. I need to plan ahead time for a workout this week, rather than just thinking maybe I’ll do it this day or that day and then things come up and it never happens.

Fortunately, I continued walking and limiting my calories on most days of the week so I was able to maintain my weight. I’m happy about that, but I am now down to 4 weeks to hit my first goal, which is still 6 pounds away. No excuses this week!
