Loss: 1 pound

I continue to make progress and I’m very happy to see the numbers are still going down each week. I was a little worried this morning because I have to admit that I put very little effort into losing weight last week. Fortunately, limiting my calories gives me a virtually guaranteed loss each week if I don’t get out of control with my eating (I was a little concerned there too because we went out to eat twice last week).

Following my own advice of small steps and accountability, I am setting a goal this week of doing one weight-lifting workout while continuing to do the daily walking I have been (mostly) doing. That’s a small step, but since I have not yet managed to do any serious workouts, doing one would be a huge improvement. To add some accountability, I will report back here next week exactly what exercise I did.
