Seems like I’ve been away for a while, but don’t worry I’m still here. I thought I was over my cold last week, but it lingered for a while and I was terribly unproductive all week. I didn’t exercise once so I’m happy that my weight didn’t go up any more than it did. Shocking news, but exercise does matter!

*Note about this weight loss chart. When I started this blog I weighed 266 pounds and I was only tracking my pounds lost each week. On November 28, 2007 I started using a new scale that tracks body fat and more (the numbers you see above). I report the figures from that scale in these weekly posts and I still track my total pounds lost in the Weight Loss Goals section in the sidebar on my site.

Keep your positive attitude. It will be your best friend as you journey towards that goal. BTW, what model scale do you use? I maybe in the market for one soon.

Good for you! You seem to be doing well in the overall scheme of things! I have been struggling with my weight for so long now-I have 20 lbs left to lose-I am trying to do everything I can to be healthy. I think maybe I need to adopt your healthy attitude!

I’m also trying to slim down. I set the goal of losing 5 pounds in January…so far, 2 down, 3 to go…

@MMJ - I’m using an Omron scale and body fat monitor- I’m putting together a full post on that now.
