Weekly Weight Loss Report - Feb 5, 2008

I had a small setback this week, gaining 0.4 pounds. I blame the Super Bowl! I planned to eat whatever I wanted on Super Sunday, and that is what I did, but I had also planned to make up for it with extra exercise, and that is not what I did. Oh well, one more week lost, but I will try to make up for it this week.
Current weight: 246.4 pounds
Weight lost since starting the blog: 19.6 pounds
Progress since starting with the new scale: -7.6 pounds, -0.8% body fat, -1 BMI
| Current Week |
Last Week |
Week Change | Start on 11/28/07 | Total Change | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weight | 246.4 | 246 | +0.4 (+0.16%) | 254 | -7.6 (-2.99%) |
| Body Fat | 37.4% | 37.6% | -0.2 (-0.53%) | 38.2 | -0.8% (-0.31%) |
| BMI | 31.6 | 31.6 | 0 (0%) | 32.6 | -1 (-0.39%) |
*Note about this weight loss chart. When I started this blog I weighed 266 pounds and I was only tracking my pounds lost each week. On November 28, 2007 I started using a new scale that tracks body fat and more (the numbers you see above). I report the figures from that scale in these weekly posts and I still track my total pounds lost in the Weight Loss Goals section in the sidebar on my site.

Dude, you can’t really judge .4 on a scale as a gain. I bet if you weighed yourself at different times in the day you would get different weights! For me, I know my weight fluctuates by a few pounds plus or minus. Keep up the work! Like personal finance it’s a slow race to the finish not a quick sprint!
