I finally signed on with the No Credit Needed Network (NCN Network) to track my credit card debt. You can see my credit card debt progress and sign up for yourself to track either a savings goal or get-out-of-debt goal.

Great post from Trent at The Simple Dollar on The 10 Most Important Things he learned about money and life last year.

J.D. at Get Rich Slowly writes about why a credit card is not an emergency fund. It’s interesting that a credit card can make you feel safe and secure, but it comes at such a high cost. Even though I only have a small emergency fund so far (a little over $1,000) , it has already proven to be a much better way to handle unexpected expenses.

If you haven’t seen them yet, be sure to check out the great financial calculators at Young Money. I’ve seen these linked to many times in the past, but I had never taken the time to check them out. I still need to spend more time playing with them, but I like what I see so far.
