Excellent video from CNBC: Dennis Kneale breaks down the real numbers in the current housing decline. Note that only 2% of US Household are in foreclosure. I don’t know about you, but I would have thought the number was a lot higher based on the craziness I hear in the news. Lesson learned, watch less news.

Really that number is high enough. To think that many families are losing there homes is a pretty large amount.
Of course I know a couple who are losing theirs, but really I knew when they purchased them they were over their heads. I just did not understand at the time why the bank did not see this.
