Fairly decent laptops are becomming so cheap now i like to replace them every few years and just buy something in the mid range to budget area.

Hi NCN, thanks for adding me, I will be sure to update my chart soon.

I hear ya on the laptop purchase. The problem is that I don’t want a PC. I’m done with PCs, and I never want to buy a Windows Vista machine. I do run a desktop and laptop on XP now, and they are fine, but I’m only going with Macs for the forseeable future.

If I want a cheap Mac, I need to find a used one. That isn’t entirely off the table, but I really prefer to get a computer new so I know it will be well cared for and last a long time.

We will see what happens. If/when the purchase is made I will share the details here.

PS.. As for the new laptop – I run my household business and 8 websites from a $350 refurbished Toshiba that I paid cash for – so, I think you know my answer –
