The Carnival of Personal Finance #122 is now up at Mighty Bargain Hunter. Mighty Bargain Hunter did a great job hosting with a very creative ‘Seussian’ format. Be sure to check out all of the great posts, including my first Blog Carnival submission. Yay for me! :)

Here are a few of my favorites:

Kim Standenraus writes a great post about when to lend money to friends or family with some wisdom from Abraham Lincoln. The letter from Lincoln is great and anyone dealing with that situation should check it out.

Clever Dude posts about spending money on credit for instruments he didn’t know how to play. I bought a guitar shortly after getting my first job- no clue how to play it and I never learned.

Finance is Personal wrote a great warning about check washing and how easily criminals can steal your check and your money. I had no idea this was so simple. Watch out!

Thanks again to Mighty Bargain Hunter for hosting this week’s carnival.
